The ADULT CHAMBER MUSIC ACADEMY (ACMA) is a five-day workshop for string players and pianists overseen by the distinguished scholar and cellist, Dr. Jonathan C. Kramer and coached by members of the CMOTH faculty.
Avid chamber musicians enjoy the camaraderie of fellow musicians and find renewal in making music throughout the day. Experienced coaches provide inspirational and technical information to help participants improve their skills at the same time developing deeper understandings of the scores.
Participants arrive on Sunday afternoon to settle in and meet their colleagues in order to hit the ground running on Monday morning.
SESSION I features daily rehearsals, coachings, reading sessions, lectures, and performances by the participants and the CMOTH faculty.
In addition to those events, SESSION II will feature the opportunity to observe masterclasses with the CMOTH students as well as to attend a performance by the accaimed Cavani String Quartet. ($25. additional charge for ticket will be added to your overall cost)
